Afilta is a yellow coated tablet that treats erectile dysfunction. The branded version of the drug is known as Cialis. It contains Tadalafil as the main ingredient. The drug is a PDE5 (phosphodiesterase 5) inhibitor. PDE5 enzymes work in the penis. By inhibiting the enzyme, blood flows to the penis is increased so that the man can experience an erection when he is sexually stimulated. He does not only experience an erection but he is in a better condition to maintain it for the duration of the sexual encounter. The drug is also used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia.
